In 2000 I retired from the university of Amsterdam where I worked as a mathematician. I replaced my math hobby with chess and photography.
Until 2004 I used an analogue camera (Canon's Epoca). In 2004 I got a Leica D-Lux, in 2006 a Sony DSC-P120, and in 2007 an Olympus SP-550 UZ.
